13 耶稣从圣殿里出来的时候，有一个门徒对他说：“老师，请看，这是多么了不起的石头！多么了不起的建筑！” 2 耶稣对他说：“你看见这些宏伟的建筑吗？这里将没有一块石头会留在另一块石头上而不被拆毁的。”
终局的预兆(B)
3 耶稣在橄榄山上，面向圣殿坐着；彼得、雅各、约翰和安得烈私下问他说： 4 “请告诉我们，什么时候有这些事呢？这一切事将成的时候有什么预兆呢？” 5 耶稣说：“你们要谨慎，免得有人迷惑你们。 6 将有好些人冒我的名来，说‘我是基督’，并且要迷惑许多人。 7 当你们听见打仗和打仗的风声，不要惊慌；这些事必须发生，但这还不是终结。 8 民要攻打民，国要攻打国，多处必有地震、饥荒。这都是灾难[a]的起头。 9 但你们自己要谨慎；因为有人要把你们交给议会，并且你们在会堂里要受鞭打，又为我的缘故站在统治者和君王面前，对他们作见证。 10 然而，福音必须先传给万民。 11 有人把你们解送去受审的时候，不要事先担心说什么；到那时候，赐给你们什么话，你们就说什么；因为说话的不是你们，而是圣灵。 12 兄弟要把兄弟、父亲要把儿女置于死地；儿女要起来与父母为敌，害死他们； 13 而且你们要为我的名被众人憎恨。但坚忍到底的终必得救。”
大灾难(C)
14 “当你们看见那‘施行毁灭的亵渎者’站在不当站的地方（读这经的人要会意），那时，在犹太的，应当逃到山上； 15 在屋顶上的，不要下来，也不要进家里去拿东西； 16 在田里的，不要回去取衣裳。 17 在那些日子，怀孕的和奶孩子的就苦了。 18 你们要祈求，叫这事不在冬天发生。 19 因为，在那些日子必有灾难，自从 神创造万物直到如今，从没有这样的灾难，将来也不会有。 20 若不是主减少那些日子，凡血肉之躯的，就没有一个能得救；但是为了他所拣选的选民，他将那些日子减少了。 21 那时，若有人对你们说：‘看哪，基督在这里！看哪，在那里！’你们不要信。 22 因为假基督和假先知将要起来，显神迹奇事，如果可能，连选民也迷惑了。 23 你们要谨慎！凡事我都预先告诉你们了。”

24 “在那些日子、那灾难以后，
太阳要变黑，月亮也不放光，
25 众星要从天上坠落，
天上的万象都要震动。
26 那时，他们要看见人子带着大能力和荣耀驾云来临。 27 他要差遣天使，从四方，从地极直到天边，召集他的选民。”

28 “你们要从无花果树学习功课：当树枝发芽长叶的时候，你们就知道夏天近了。 29 同样，当你们看见这些事发生，就知道那时候近了，就在门口了。 30 我实在告诉你们，这世代还没有过去，这一切都要发生。 31 天地要废去，我的话却绝不废去。”
那日那时没有人知道(F)
32 “但那日子，那时辰，没有人知道，连天上的天使也不知道，子也不知道，惟有父知道。 33 你们要谨慎，要警醒[b]，因为你们不知道那时刻几时来到。 34 这事正如一个人离家远行，授权给仆人们，分派各人的工作，又吩咐看门的警醒。 35 所以，你们要警醒，因为你们不知道这家的主人什么时候来，是晚上，或半夜，或鸡叫时，或早晨， 36 免得他忽然来到，看见你们睡着了。 37 我对你们所说的话，也是对众人说的：要警醒！”

14 “当你们看见‘那造成荒凉的可憎者’，站在不该站的地方（读者必须领悟），那时，住在犹太的应当逃到山上； 15 在房顶的不要下来，也不要进到屋子里拿甚么东西； 16 在田里的也不要回去取衣服。 17 当那些日子，怀孕的和乳养孩子的有祸了！ 18 你们应当祈求，不要让这些事在冬天发生。 19 因为那些日子必有灾难，这是从 神创世的开始到现在未曾有过的，以后也必不会再有。 20 如果不是主减少那些日子，没有一个人可以存活；但是为了自己的选民，他必使那些日子减少。 21 那时，如果有人对你们说：‘看哪，基督在这里！看哪，他在那里！’你们不要信。 22 因为必有假基督和假先知出现，行神迹和奇事，如果可以的话，连选民也要迷惑了。 23 所以你们应当小心！我已经事先把一切都告诉你们了。

警醒准备(E)
32 “至于那日子和时间，没有人知道，连天上的天使和子也不知道，只有父知道。 33 你们要小心，要警醒，因为你们不知道那日期甚么时候来到。 34 这就像一个人出外远行，把责任（“责任”原文作“权柄”）一一地交给他的仆人，又吩咐看门的要警醒。 35 所以你们要警醒，因为你们不知道家主甚么时候来到，也许在黄昏，也许在半夜，也许在鸡叫时，也许在清晨。 36 恐怕他忽然来到，发现你们正在睡觉。 37 我对你们所说的话，也是对众人说的，‘你们要警醒’。”

13 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
