86 大卫的祈祷。

¹耶和华啊，求你侧耳应允我，因我是困苦穷乏的。
²求你保存我的性命，因我是虔诚人。我的神啊，求你拯救这倚靠你的仆人。
³主啊，求你怜悯我，因我终日求告你。
⁴主啊，求你使仆人心里欢喜，因为我的心仰望你。
⁵主啊，你本为良善，乐意饶恕人，有丰盛的慈爱赐给凡求告你的人。
⁶耶和华啊，求你留心听我的祷告，垂听我恳求的声音。
⁷我在患难之日要求告你，因为你必应允我。
⁸主啊，诸神之中没有可比你的，你的作为也无可比。
⁹主啊，你所造的万民都要来敬拜你，他们也要荣耀你的名。
¹⁰因你为大，且行奇妙的事，唯独你是神。
¹¹耶和华啊，求你将你的道指教我，我要照你的真理行；求你使我专心敬畏你的名。
¹²主我的神啊，我要一心称赞你，我要荣耀你的名直到永远。
¹³因为你向我发的慈爱是大的，你救了我的灵魂免入极深的阴间。
¹⁴神啊，骄傲的人起来攻击我，又有一党强横的人寻索我的命，他们没有将你放在眼中。
¹⁵主啊，你是有怜悯有恩典的神，不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱和诚实。
¹⁶求你向我转脸，怜恤我，将你的力量赐给仆人，救你婢女的儿子。
¹⁷求你向我显出恩待我的凭据，叫恨我的人看见便羞愧，因为你耶和华帮助我，安慰我。

86 ^(A)Incline Your ear, Lord, and answer me;
For I am ^(B)afflicted and needy.
²^(C)Protect my ^[a]soul, for I am ^(D)godly;
You my God, save Your servant who ^(E)trusts in You.
³Be ^(F)gracious to me, Lord,
For ^(G)I call upon You all day long.
⁴Make the soul of Your servant joyful,
For to You, Lord, ^(H)I lift up my soul.
⁵For You, Lord, are ^(I)good, and ^(J)ready to forgive,
And ^(K)abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.
⁶^(L)Listen, Lord, to my prayer;
And give Your attention to the sound of my pleading!
⁷On ^(M)the day of my trouble I will call upon You,
For ^(N)You will answer me.
⁸There is ^(O)no one like You among the gods, Lord,
Nor are there any works ^(P)like Yours.
⁹^(Q)All nations whom You have made will come and worship before You, Lord,
And they will glorify Your name.

You alone ^(T)are God.

¹¹^(U)Teach me Your way, Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
^(V)Unite my heart to fear Your name.

And I will glorify Your name forever.
¹³For Your graciousness toward me is great,

¹⁴God, arrogant men have ^(Y)risen up against me,
And a gang of violent men have sought my ^[e]life,
And they have not set You before them.
¹⁵But You, Lord, are a ^(Z)compassionate and gracious God,
Slow to anger and abundant in mercy and ^[f]truth.
¹⁶^(AA)Turn to me, and be gracious to me;
^(AB)Grant Your strength to Your servant,
And save the ^(AC)son of Your maidservant.
¹⁷^(AD)Show me a sign of good,
That those who hate me may ^(AE)see it and be ashamed,
