6 烏西雅王駕崩那年，我看見主坐在高高的寶座上，衣袍下垂，覆蓋了聖殿。 2 在祂上方侍立著撒拉弗天使，他們各有三對翅膀：一對遮臉，一對遮腳，一對飛翔。 3 他們彼此呼喊：
「聖哉，聖哉，聖哉，
萬軍之耶和華！
祂的榮耀充滿大地。」
4 他們的聲音震動聖殿的根基，聖殿裡煙雲彌漫。 5 那時我說：「我有禍了！我要滅亡了！因為我口出不潔之言，又住在口出不潔之言的人群中，並且親眼看見了大君王——萬軍之耶和華。」 6 有個撒拉弗天使用火鉗從祭壇上取了一塊燃燒的炭，飛到我面前， 7 用炭碰我的嘴唇，說：「看啊，這炭碰了你的嘴唇，你的過犯已被除掉，你的罪惡已被赦免。」 8 然後，我聽見主說：「我可以差遣誰呢？誰肯為我們去呢？」我說：「我在這裡，請差遣我！」 9 祂說：「你去告訴以色列人，
『你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；
看了又看，卻不領悟。』

回心轉意，就得到醫治。」
11 我說：「主啊，這要到什麼時候呢？」祂說：

他們的土地必荒蕪。
13 即使境內只剩下十分之一的人，
也必被消滅。

6 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple. 2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. With two he flew. 3 One called to another, and said,
“Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Armies!
The whole earth is full of his glory!”
4 The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 Then I said, “Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of unclean lips, for my eyes have seen the King, Yahweh of Armies!”
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar. 7 He touched my mouth with it, and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin forgiven.”
8 I heard the Lord’s voice, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”
Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
9 He said, “Go, and tell this people,
‘You hear indeed,
but don’t understand.
You see indeed,
but don’t perceive.’
10 Make the heart of this people fat.
Make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes;
lest they see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their heart,
and turn again, and be healed.”
11 Then I said, “Lord, how long?”
He answered,
“Until cities are waste without inhabitant,
houses without man,
the land becomes utterly waste,
12 and Yahweh has removed men far away,
and the forsaken places are many within the land.
13 If there is a tenth left in it,
that also will in turn be consumed,
as a terebinth, and as an oak whose stump remains when they are cut down,
so the holy seed is its stump.”
