^25 (A)Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
^26 (B)My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the ^[a]strength of my heart and my ^(C)portion forever.

²⁷ For indeed, ^(D)those who are far from You shall perish;
You have destroyed all those who ^[b]desert You for harlotry.
²⁸ But it is good for me to ^(E)draw near to God;
I have put my trust in the Lord God,
That I may ^(F)declare all Your works.

^31 (A)Do not envy the oppressor,
And choose none of his ways;
³² For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord,
^(B)But His secret counsel is with the upright.
^33 (C)The curse of the Lord is on the house of the wicked,
But ^(D)He blesses the home of the just.
^34 (E)Surely He scorns the scornful,
But gives grace to the humble.
³⁵ The wise shall inherit glory,
But shame shall be the legacy of fools.
