38 It shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall take upon himself any guilt incurred in the holy offering which the people of Israel hallow as their holy gifts; it shall always be upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.
39 “And you shall weave the coat in checker work of fine linen, and you shall make a turban of fine linen, and you shall make a girdle embroidered with needlework.
40 “And for Aaron’s sons you shall make coats and girdles and caps; you shall make them for glory and beauty.

38 It will be on Aaron’s forehead, and he will bear the guilt(A) involved in the sacred gifts the Israelites consecrate, whatever their gifts may be. It will be on Aaron’s forehead continually so that they will be acceptable(B) to the Lord.
39 “Weave the tunic(C) of fine linen and make the turban(D) of fine linen. The sash is to be the work of an embroiderer. 40 Make tunics, sashes and caps for Aaron’s sons(E) to give them dignity and honor.(F)
