    鉴察人的肺腑心肠。
²⁸君王靠慈爱和忠信护佑，
    他的王位因慈爱而稳固。
²⁹力量是青年的荣耀，

²⁷The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

²⁸Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy.

²⁹The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the grey head.

²⁷The human spirit is^[a] the lamp of the Lord^(A)
that sheds light on one’s inmost being.^(B)

²⁸Love and faithfulness keep a king safe;
