37 Рука Господа была на мне. Он вывел меня Духом Господа и поставил посреди долины; она была полна костей. 2 Он повел меня посреди них, и я увидел великое множество костей, лежавших в долине, и они были очень сухими. 3 Он спросил меня:
– Сын человеческий, могут ли эти кости ожить?
Я ответил:
– Владыка Господи, это знаешь Ты один.
4 Тогда Он сказал мне:
– Пророчествуй этим костям и скажи им: «Сухие кости, слушайте слово Господа! 5 Так говорит этим костям Владыка Господь: Я пошлю в вас дыхание[a], и вы оживете. 6 Я прилажу к вам сухожилия, наращу на вас плоть и покрою кожей; Я вложу в вас дыхание, и вы оживете. Тогда вы узнаете, что Я – Господь».
7 Я стал пророчествовать, как мне было велено. Когда я пророчествовал, раздался шум, постукивание, и кости начали сходиться – кость с костью. 8 Я видел, как на них появились сухожилия и плоть, и как их покрыла кожа, но в них не было дыхания. 9 Тогда Он сказал мне:
– Пророчествуй дыханию. Пророчествуй, сын человеческий, и скажи ему: «Так говорит Владыка Господь: Приди с четырех ветров, о дыхание, и вдохни в этих убитых, чтобы они ожили».
10 Я начал пророчествовать, как Он повелел мне, и в них вошло дыхание. Они ожили и встали на ноги, это несметное войско. 11 Тогда Он сказал мне:
– Сын человеческий, эти кости – весь дом Израиля. Они говорят: «Наши кости высохли, и надежда исчезла. С нами покончено». 12 Поэтому пророчествуй и скажи им: «Так говорит Владыка Господь: Мой народ, Я открою ваши могилы и подниму вас из них. Тогда вы узнаете, что Я, Господь, сказал это и исполнил», – возвещает Господь.

15 Было ко мне слово Господне:
16 – Сын человеческий, возьми деревянный брусок и напиши на нем: «Иудея и израильтяне, что с ней в союзе». Потом возьми другой брусок и напиши на нем: «Брусок Ефрема, что принадлежит Иосифу и всему дому Израиля, что с ним в союзе». 17 Приложи их один к другому, чтобы у тебя в руке они стали единым целым.
18 Когда твои соплеменники спросят тебя: «Не объяснишь ли нам, что это значит?» – 19 скажи им: Так говорит Владыка Господь: «Я возьму брусок Иосифа и израильских родов, что с ним в союзе (он в руке Ефрема), и приложу к бруску Иудеи, сделав из них один брусок, и в Моей руке они станут единым целым». 20 Держи перед глазами бруски, на которых ты сделал надпись, 21 и скажи им: «Так говорит Владыка Господь: Я выведу израильтян из народов, к которым они ушли, соберу их отовсюду и приведу в их землю. 22 В этой земле, на горах Израиля, Я сделаю их одним народом. У них будет один Царь, и они не будут больше двумя народами и не разделятся больше на два царства. 23 Впредь они не станут оскверняться ни идолами, ни гнусными истуканами, ни другими своими преступлениями. Я спасу их из всех жилищ, где они грешили[c], и очищу их. Они будут Моим народом, а Я буду их Богом.
24 Их царем станет Мой слуга Давид, и у всех у них будет один пастух. Они будут следовать Моим законам и бережно исполнять Мои установления. 25 Они будут жить в земле, которую Я отдал Моему слуге Иакову, в земле, где жили их предки. Они сами, их дети и дети детей будут жить там вечно, и Мой слуга Давид навеки будет их правителем. 26 Я заключу с ними завет мира; этот завет будет вечным. Я утвержу их на их земле и умножу их число. 37 Y LA mano de Jehová fué sobre mí, y sacóme en espíritu de Jehová, y púsome en medio de un campo que estaba lleno de huesos.
2 E hízome pasar cerca de ellos por todo alrededor: y he aquí que eran muy muchos sobre la haz del campo, y por cierto secos en gran manera.
3 Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, ¿vivirán estos huesos? Y dije: Señor Jehová, tú lo sabes.
4 Díjome entonces: Profetiza sobre estos huesos, y diles: Huesos secos, oid palabra de Jehová.
5 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á estos huesos: He aquí, yo hago entrar espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis.
6 Y pondré nervios sobre vosotros, y haré subir sobre vosotros carne, y os cubriré de piel, y pondré en vosotros espíritu, y viviréis; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
7 Profeticé pues, como me fué mandado; y hubo un ruido mientras yo profetizaba, y he aquí un temblor, y los huesos se llegaron cada hueso á su hueso.
8 Y miré, y he aquí nervios sobre ellos, y la carne subió, y la piel cubrío por encima de ellos: mas no había en ellos espíritu.
9 Y díjome: Profetiza al espíritu, profetiza, hijo del hombre, y di al espíritu: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Espíritu, ven de los cuatro vientos, y sopla sobre estos muertos, y vivirán.
10 Y profeticé como me había mandado, y entró espíritu en ellos, y vivieron, y estuvieron sobre sus pies, un ejército grande en extremo.
11 Díjome luego: Hijo del hombre, todos estos huesos son la casa de Israel. He aquí, ellos dicen: Nuestros huesos se secaron, y pereció nuestra esperanza, y somos del todo talados.
12 Por tanto profetiza, y diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo abro vuestros sepulcros, pueblo mío, y os haré subir de vuestras sepulturas, y os traeré á la tierra de Israel.
13 Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová, cuando abriere vuestros sepulcros, y os sacare de vuestras sepulturas, pueblo mío.
14 Y pondré mi espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis, y os haré reposar sobre vuestra tierra; y sabréis que yo Jehová hablé, y lo hice, dice Jehová.
15 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
16 Tú, hijo del hombre, tómate ahora un palo, y escribe en él: á Judá, y á los hijos de Israel sus compañeros. Toma después otro palo, y escribe en él: á José, palo de Ephraim, y á toda la casa de Israel sus compañeros.
17 Júntalos luego el uno con el otro, para que sean en uno, y serán uno en tu mano.
18 Y cuando te hablaren los hijos de tu pueblo, diciendo: ¿No nos enseñarás qué te propones con eso?
19 Diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo tomo el palo de José que está en la mano de Ephraim, y á las tribus de Israel sus compañeros, y pondrélos con él, con el palo de Judá, y harélos un palo, y serán uno en mi mano.
20 Y los palos sobre que escribieres, estarán en tu mano delante de sus ojos;
21 Y les dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo tomo á los hijos de Israel de entre las gentes á las cuales fueron, y los juntaré de todas partes, y los traeré á su tierra:
22 Y los haré una nación en la tierra, en los montes de Israel; y un rey será á todos ellos por rey: y nunca más serán dos naciones, ni nunca más serán divididos en dos reinos:
23 Ni más se contaminarán con sus ídolos, y con sus abominaciones, y con todas sus rebeliones: y los salvaré de todas sus habitaciones en las cuales pecaron, y los limpiaré; y me serán por pueblo, y yo á ellos por Dios.
24 Y mi siervo David será rey sobre ellos, y á todos ellos será un pastor: y andarán en mis derechos, y mis ordenanzas guardarán, y las pondrán por obra.
25 Y habitarán en la tierra que dí á mi siervo Jacob, en la cual habitaron vuestros padres; en ella habitarán ellos, y sus hijos, y los hijos de sus hijos para siempre; y mi siervo David les será príncipe para siempre.
26 Y concertaré con ellos pacto de paz, perpetuo pacto será con ellos: y los asentaré, y los multiplicaré, y pondré mi santuario entre ellos para siempre.
27 Y estará en ellos mi tabernáculo, y seré á ellos por Dios, y ellos me serán por pueblo.
28 Y sabrán las gentes que yo Jehová santifico á Israel, estando mi santuario entre ellos para siempre.

The Valley of Dry Bones
37 The power of the Lord came over me. The Lord brought me out by his Spirit and put me down in the middle of a valley. The valley was filled with bones. 2 He led me all around them. I saw that there were very many bones at the bottom of the valley, and they were very dry.
3 Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I answered, “Only you know, Almighty Lord.”
4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones. Tell them, ‘Dry bones, listen to the Lord’s word. 5 This is what the Almighty Lord says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will live. 6 I will put ligaments on you, place muscles on you, and cover you with skin. I will put breath in you, and you will live. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’ ”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. While I was prophesying, suddenly there was a rattling noise, and the bones came together, one bone ⌞attaching itself⌟ to another. 8 As I looked, I saw that ligaments were on them, muscles were on them, and skin covered them. Yet, there was no breath in them.
9 Then the Lord said to me, “Prophesy to the breath! [a] Prophesy, son of man. Tell the breath, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says: Come from the four winds, Breath, and breathe on these people who were killed so that they will live.’ ”
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath entered them. Then they came to life and stood on their feet. There were enough of them to form a very large army.
11 The Lord also said to me, “Son of man, all the people of Israel are like these bones. The people say, ‘Our bones are dry, and our hope has vanished. We are completely destroyed.’ 12 So prophesy. Tell them, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says: My people, I will open your graves and take you out of them. I will bring you to Israel. 13 Then, my people, you will know that I am the Lord, because I will open your graves and bring you out of your graves. 14 I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live. I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’ ”
15 The Lord spoke his word to me again. He said, 16 “Son of man, take a stick and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the Israelites who are associated with it.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘The stick of Ephraim, for Joseph and for all the people of Israel associated with it.’ 17 Then join both sticks together so that they will be one in your hand. Your people will say to you, 18 ‘Tell us what you mean by this.’ 19 Then say to them, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says: I will take Joseph’s stick, which is in Ephraim’s hand, and the tribes of Israel associated with it, and I will put them with Judah’s stick. I will make them into one stick. They will be one in my hand.’ 20 When you hold the sticks in your hand, let the people see them.
21 “Then tell them, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they’ve gone. I will gather them from everywhere and bring them to their own land. 22 I will form them into one nation in the land on the mountains of Israel. One king will rule all of them. They will no longer be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms. 23 They will no longer dishonor themselves with their idols, with their detestable things, or with their rebellious acts. I will forgive them for all the times they turned away from me and sinned. I will cleanse them so that they will be my people, and I will be their God.
24 “ ‘My servant David will be their king, and all of them will have one shepherd. They will live by my rules, and they will obey my laws. 25 They will live in the land that I gave my servant Jacob, the land where their ancestors lived. They, their children, and their grandchildren will live in it permanently. My servant David will always be their prince. 26 I will promise them peace. This promise [b] will last forever. I will establish them, make them increase in number, and put my holy place among them permanently. 27 My dwelling place will be with them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 28 Then the nations will know that I, the Lord, have set Israel apart as holy, because my holy place will be among them permanently.’ ”

The Valley of Dry Bones
37 The hand of the Lord was on me,(A) and he brought me out by the Spirit(B) of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley;(C) it was full of bones.(D) 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.(E)”
4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!(F) 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life.(G) 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.(H)’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath;(I) prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds(J) and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded(K) me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.(L)
11 Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’(M) 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.(N) 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord,(O) when I open your graves and bring you up from them.(P) 14 I will put my Spirit(Q) in you and you will live, and I will settle(R) you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.(S)’”
One Nation Under One King
15 The word of the Lord came to me: 16 “Son of man, take a stick of wood and write on it, ‘Belonging to Judah and the Israelites(T) associated with him.(U)’ Then take another stick of wood, and write on it, ‘Belonging to Joseph (that is, to Ephraim) and all the Israelites associated with him.’ 17 Join them together into one stick so that they will become one in your hand.(V)
18 “When your people ask you, ‘Won’t you tell us what you mean by this?’(W) 19 say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to take the stick of Joseph—which is in Ephraim’s hand—and of the Israelite tribes associated with him, and join it to Judah’s stick. I will make them into a single stick of wood, and they will become one in my hand.’(X) 20 Hold before their eyes the sticks you have written on 21 and say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land.(Y) 22 I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel.(Z) There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms.(AA) 23 They will no longer defile(AB) themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding,[b](AC) and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.(AD)
24 “‘My servant David(AE) will be king(AF) over them, and they will all have one shepherd.(AG) They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees.(AH) 25 They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived.(AI) They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever,(AJ) and David my servant will be their prince forever.(AK) 26 I will make a covenant of peace(AL) with them; it will be an everlasting covenant.(AM) I will establish them and increase their numbers,(AN) and I will put my sanctuary among them(AO) forever.(AP) 27 My dwelling place(AQ) will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.(AR) 28 Then the nations will know that I the Lord make Israel holy,(AS) when my sanctuary is among them forever.(AT)’”
