Sandra Richter

Sandra Richter is the Robert H. Gundry Chair of Biblical Studies at Westmont College. She earned her PhD from Harvard University in Hebrew Bible and her MA in Theological Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Richter is broadly known for her book, The Epic of Eden: A Christian Entry into the Old Testament, and the Epic of Eden Bible studies that have grown from it, as well as numerous other books and Bible commentaries. She is also a member of the New International Version (NIV) Translation Committee. Sandy has a heart for the Church and is committed to bringing the best of biblical scholarship out of the Academy and into the pew.
