Then I saw another angel coming up from the rising of the sun, holding the seal of the living God; and with a loud voice he called out to the four angels to whom it was granted [to have authority and power] to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth nor the sea nor the trees until we [a]seal (mark) the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads.”(A)

Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal(A) of the living God.(B) He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea:(C) “Do not harm(D) the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads(E) of the servants of our God.” Then I heard the number(F) of those who were sealed: 144,000(G) from all the tribes of Israel.
