The Harvest of the Earth

14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one (A)like a son of man, (B)with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 And another angel (C)came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, (D)“Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for (E)the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” 16 So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.

17 Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, (F)the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, (G)for its grapes are ripe.” 19 So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great (H)winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And (I)the winepress was trodden (J)outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as (K)a horse's bridle, for 1,600 stadia.[a]

The Seven Angels with Seven Plagues

15 Then (L)I saw another sign in heaven, great and amazing, (M)seven angels with seven plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is finished.

And I saw (N)what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire—and also those (O)who had conquered the beast and its image and (P)the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass (Q)with harps of God in their hands. And they sing (R)the song of Moses, (S)the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,

(T)“Great and amazing are your deeds,
    O Lord God the Almighty!
(U)Just and true are your ways,
    O King of the nations![b]
(V)Who will not fear, O Lord,
    and glorify your name?
For you alone are (W)holy.
    (X)All nations will come
    and worship you,
for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

After this I looked, and (Y)the sanctuary of (Z)the tent[c] of witness in heaven was opened, and out of the sanctuary came (AA)the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright (AB)linen, (AC)with golden sashes around their chests. And one of (AD)the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven (AE)golden bowls full of the wrath of God (AF)who lives forever and ever, and (AG)the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and (AH)no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.

The Seven Bowls of God's Wrath

16 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling (AI)the seven angels, “Go and (AJ)pour out on the earth (AK)the seven bowls of the wrath of God.”
