God, the King of the Earth.

For the music director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

47 (A)Clap your hands, all you peoples;
(B)Shout to God with a voice of joy.
For the Lord Most High is to be (C)feared,
A (D)great King over all the earth.
He (E)subdues peoples under us
And nations under our feet.
He chooses our (F)inheritance for us,
The (G)pride of Jacob whom He loves. Selah

God has (H)ascended [a]with a shout,
The Lord, [b]with the (I)sound of a trumpet.
(J)Sing praises to God, sing praises;
Sing praises to (K)our King, sing praises.
For God is the (L)King of all the earth;
Sing praises (M)with a psalm of wisdom.
God (N)reigns over the nations,
God [c]sits on (O)His holy throne.
The [d](P)princes of the people have assembled as the (Q)people of the God of Abraham,
For the (R)shields of the earth belong to God;
He is (S)highly exalted.

12 Praise the Lord, Jerusalem!
Praise your God, Zion!
13 For He has strengthened the (A)bars of your gates;
He has (B)blessed your sons among you.
14 He (C)makes [a]peace in your borders;
He (D)satisfies you with (E)the [b]finest of the wheat.
15 He sends His (F)command to the earth;
His (G)word runs very swiftly.
16 He [c]showers (H)snow like wool;
He scatters the (I)frost like ashes.
17 He hurls His (J)ice as fragments;
Who can stand before His (K)cold?
18 He (L)sends His word and makes them melt;
He (M)makes His wind blow, and the waters flow.
19 He (N)declares His words to Jacob,
His (O)statutes and His judgments to Israel.
20 He (P)has not dealt this way with any other nation;
And as for His judgments, [d]they have (Q)not known them.
[e]Praise [f]the Lord!

The Ancient of Days Reigns

“I kept looking
Until (A)thrones were set up,
And the Ancient of Days took His seat;
His (B)garment was white as snow,
And the (C)hair of His head like pure wool.
His (D)throne was [a]ablaze with flames,
Its (E)wheels were a burning fire.
10 A river of (F)fire was flowing
And coming out from before Him;
(G)Thousands upon thousands were serving Him,
And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him;
The (H)court [b]convened,
And (I)the books were opened.

11 Then I kept looking because of the sound of the [c]boastful words which the horn was speaking; I kept looking until the beast was killed, and its body was destroyed and given to the (J)burning [d]fire. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but an extension of life was granted to them for an appointed period of time.

The Son of Man Presented

13 “I kept looking in the night visions,
And behold, with the clouds of heaven
One like a son of man was coming,
And He came up to the Ancient of Days
And was presented before Him.
14 And to Him was given (K)dominion,
Honor, and [e](L)a kingdom,
(M)So that all the peoples, nations, and populations of all [f]languages
Might serve Him.
(N)His dominion is an everlasting dominion
Which will not pass away;
(O)And His kingdom is one
Which will not be destroyed.

Earth Subject to Man

For He did not subject to angels [a](A)the world to come, about which we are speaking. But someone has testified (B)somewhere, saying,

(C)What is man, that You think of him?
Or a son of man, that You are concerned about him?
(D)You have made him [b]for a little while lower than angels;
You have crowned him with glory and honor[c];
(E)You have put everything in subjection under his feet.”

For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. But now (F)we do not yet see all things subjected to him.

Jesus Briefly Humbled

But we do see Him who was (G)made [d]for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, (H)because of His suffering death (I)crowned with glory and honor, so that (J)by the grace of God He might (K)taste death (L)for everyone.

10 For (M)it was fitting for Him, (N)for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to (O)perfect the [e](P)originator of their salvation through sufferings. 11 For both He who (Q)sanctifies and those who (R)are [f]sanctified are all (S)from one Father; for this reason He is not ashamed to call them (T)brothers and sisters, 12 saying,

(U)I will proclaim Your name to My brothers,
In the midst of the assembly I will sing Your praise.”

13 And again,

(V)I will put My trust in Him.”

And again,

(W)Behold, I and the children whom God has given Me.”

14 Therefore, since the children share in [g](X)flesh and blood, (Y)He Himself likewise also partook of the same, so that (Z)through death He might destroy (AA)the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and free those who through (AB)fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. 16 For clearly He does not [h]give help to angels, but He gives help to the [i]descendants of Abraham. 17 Therefore, in all things He [j]had (AC)to be made like His brothers so that He might (AD)become a merciful and faithful (AE)high priest in (AF)things pertaining to God, to (AG)make [k]propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For since He Himself was [l](AH)tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are [m]tempted.

The Great Commission

16 But the eleven disciples proceeded (A)to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated to them. 17 And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but (B)some [a]were doubtful. 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, (C)All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 [b](D)Go, therefore, and (E)make disciples of (F)all the nations, (G)baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to [c]follow all that I commanded you; and behold, (H)I am with you [d]always, to (I)the end of the age.”
