Psalm 86:14-16

New International Version

¹⁴ Arrogant foes are attacking me, O God;
    ruthless people are trying to kill me—
    they have no regard for you.^(A)
15 But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious^(B) God,
    slow to anger,^(C) abounding^(D) in love and faithfulness.^(E)
16 Turn to me^(F) and have mercy^(G) on me;
    show your strength^(H) in behalf of your servant;
save me, because I serve you
    just as my mother did.^(I)
