^23 (A)“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

^31 (A)And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and ^(B)shall call His name Jesus. ³² He will be great, ^(C)and will be called the Son of the Highest; and ^(D)the Lord God will give Him the ^(E)throne of His ^(F)father David.

³⁷ that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and ^(A)began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: ³⁸ how ^(B)God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who ^(C)went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, ^(D)for God was with Him.

²² “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you ^(A)by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—

²⁶ For such a High Priest was fitting for us, ^(A)who is holy, ^[a]harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, ^(B)and has become higher than the heavens; ²⁷ who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His ^(C)own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

³ For ^(A)I delivered to you first of all that ^(B)which I also received: that Christ died for our sins ^(C)according to the Scriptures, ⁴ and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day ^(D)according to the Scriptures, ^5 (E)and that He was seen by ^[a]Cephas, then ^(F)by the twelve.

²¹ For ^(A)He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become ^(B)the righteousness of God in Him.

Marks of the Ministry

6 We then, as ^(C)workers together with Him also ^(D)plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

⁶ He is not here; for He is risen, ^(A)as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

³⁹ Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. ^(A)Handle Me and see, for a ^(B)spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”
