Joshua 21:42-44

⁴² These cities individually had ^[a]their surrounding pasture lands; this is how it was with all these cities.

^43 (A)So the Lord gave Israel all the land which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and ^(B)they took possession of it and lived in it. ⁴⁴ And the Lord ^(C)gave them rest on every side, in accordance with everything that He had sworn to their fathers, and ^(D)no one of all their enemies stood before them; ^(E)the Lord handed all their enemies over to them.
