10 For thus says the Lord: After (A)seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to (B)return to this place. 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will (C)call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will (D)listen to you. 13 And (E)you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me (F)with all your heart. 14 (G)I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; (H)I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.
15 Because you have said, “The Lord has raised up prophets for us in Babylon”— 16 (I)therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king who sits on the throne of David, concerning all the people who dwell in this city, and concerning your brethren who have not gone out with you into captivity—

10 This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years(A) are completed for Babylon, I will come to you(B) and fulfill my good promise(C) to bring you back(D) to this place. 11 For I know the plans(E) I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper(F) you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.(G) 12 Then you will call(H) on me and come and pray(I) to me, and I will listen(J) to you. 13 You will seek(K) me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.(L) 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back(M) from captivity.[a] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”(N)
15 You may say, “The Lord has raised up prophets for us in Babylon,” 16 but this is what the Lord says about the king who sits on David’s throne and all the people who remain in this city, your fellow citizens who did not go with you into exile—
