¹⁴ But you, God, see the trouble^(A) of the afflicted;
    you consider their grief and take it in hand.
The victims commit themselves to you;^(B)
    you are the helper^(C) of the fatherless.

⁹ Do not hide your face^(A) from me,
    do not turn your servant away in anger;^(B)
    you have been my helper.^(C)
Do not reject me or forsake^(D) me,
    God my Savior.^(E)

¹⁰ Hear,^(A) Lord, and be merciful to me;^(B)
    Lord, be my help.^(C)”

⁴ Surely God is my help;^(A)
    the Lord is the one who sustains me.^(B)

⁵ But as for me, I am poor and needy;^(A)
    come quickly to me,^(B) O God.
You are my help^(C) and my deliverer;^(D)
    Lord, do not delay.^(E)
