Genesis 17:18-20

18 And Abraham said unto God, Oh, that Ishmael might live in thy sight.
19 Then God said, (A)Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed, and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an [a]everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
20 And as concerning Ishmael, I have heard thee: lo, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him [b]exceedingly: twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make a great nation of him.

18 And Abraham said to God, “If only Ishmael(A) might live under your blessing!”(B)
19 Then God said, “Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son,(C) and you will call him Isaac.[a](D) I will establish my covenant with him(E) as an everlasting covenant(F) for his descendants after him. 20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers.(G) He will be the father of twelve rulers,(H) and I will make him into a great nation.(I)
