²¹ I will grant this people ^(A)favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you will not go empty-handed.

³ And ^(A)the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. ^(B)Furthermore, the man Moses himself was ^[a]greatly esteemed in the land of Egypt, both in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people.

³⁶ and the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have their request. Therefore they ^(A)plundered the Egyptians.
