¹² And God said, “I will be with you.^(A) And this will be the sign^(B) to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you^[a] will worship God on this mountain.^(C)”

⁴³ for the Amalekites^(A) and the Canaanites^(B) will face you there. Because you have turned away from the Lord, he will not be with you^(C) and you will fall by the sword.”

⁵ No one will be able to stand against you^(A) all the days of your life. As I was with^(B) Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake^(C) you.
