2 Timothy 3:12-4:5

¹² Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus ^(A)will be persecuted. ¹³ But evil people and impostors ^(B)will proceed from bad to worse, ^(C)deceiving and being deceived. ¹⁴ You, however, ^(D)continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, ¹⁵ and that ^(E)from childhood you have known ^(F)the sacred writings which are able to ^(G)give you the wisdom that leads to ^(H)salvation through faith which is in ^(I)Christ Jesus. ^16 (J)All Scripture is ^[a]inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for ^[b]rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; ¹⁷ so that ^(K)the man or woman of God may be ^[c]fully capable, ^(L)equipped for every good work.

Preach the Word

4 ^(M)I solemnly exhort you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to ^(N)judge the living and the dead, and by His ^(O)appearing and His kingdom: ² preach ^(P)the word; be ready ^[d]in season and out of season; ^(Q)correct, rebuke, and ^[e]exhort, with ^[f]great ^(R)patience and instruction. ³ For ^(S)the time will come when they will not tolerate ^(T)sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, ⁴ and they ^(U)will turn their ears away from the truth and ^(V)will turn aside to myths. ⁵ But as for you, ^(W)use self-restraint in all things, ^(X)endure hardship, do the work of an ^(Y)evangelist, fulfill your ^(Z)ministry.
