1 Peter 1:23-2:3
New King James Version
23 (A)having been born again, not of [a]corruptible seed but [b]incorruptible, (B)through the word of God which lives and abides [c]forever, 24 because
(C)“All flesh is as grass,
And all [d]the glory of man as the flower of the grass.
The grass withers,
And its flower falls away,
25 (D)But the [e]word of the Lord endures forever.”
(E)Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.
Our Inheritance Through Christ’s Blood
2 Therefore, (F)laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2 (G)as newborn babes, desire the pure (H)milk of the word, that you may grow [f]thereby, 3 if indeed you have (I)tasted that the Lord is gracious.
