Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary Definition of Truth:
Conformity to fact or reality; exact accordance with that which is, or has been, or shall be. The truth of history constitutes its whole value. We rely on the truth of the scriptural prophecies.
God made an everlasting covenant with Abraham and his descendents the Israelites. God cannot lie or break His word. Today, this covenant continues to believers in Christ (Gal 3:14). Paul states that in this current age there are blinders preventing the understanding of the Messiah (Rom 11). However, in the ages to come there will be no blinders and all will recognize that through Jesus Christ the covenant will go on forever.
