A Stained-Glass Window by Sheri Rose Shepherd
So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit--makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. — 2 Corinthians 3:18
Our God knows how to take what is shattered in us and put the broken pieces of our lives together so that we become like a beautiful stained-glass window. When his light shines through our stains, we become a beautiful reflection of His glory for all to see what a marvelous father we have.
God's Letter to You
I believe if The Lord was going to write you a personal letter about battles this life brings it may read like this....
I don't want you to worry about what you're not or to remain paralyzed by what you've done. I want my truth so deeply engraved on your heart that it cannot be stolen by the enemy. I want you to be so confident in who I am that you never forget that I am the God who breathes life into what is dead. I am a strong God who can resurrect anything that is torn down. I can take wreckage and use the ruins to rebuild something beautiful. You are my chosen child and my beloved daughter and I would never leave you without a reason to believe. All I ask of you is to receive what I want to do in you and through you so others can see that you are my masterpiece and a reflection of my glory.
Your Heavenly Father
I lift up your girl before you today. I pray, God, that she would believe and receive all that you have for her. Provide all that she needs so that she will know that you are there and that you can do more than she could ever imagine.
Treasure of Truth
To receive all God has, you have to believe all God is.
