And David saith, “Let their table be made a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a recompense unto them.
And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, And a stumblingblock, and a recompense unto them:
And David says, “Let their table (abundance) become a snare and a trap, A stumbling block and a retribution to them.
And David says, Let their table (their feasting, banqueting) become a snare and a trap, a pitfall and a just retribution [rebounding like a boomerang upon them];
And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
And David says, Let their table become a snare and a trap, a pitfall and a retribution to them.
And David says, Their table should become a pitfall and a trap, a stumbling block and payback to them for what they have done.
And David says, “Let their dining table become for them a snare and a trap, a pitfall and a punishment.
Then David said, “Turn their meals into bait for a trap, so that they will stumble and be given what they deserve.
And David says, Let their table be for a snare, and for a gin, and for a fall-trap, and for a recompense to them:
And David says [in Ps 69:22-23], “Let their table become a snare and a trap and a cause-of-falling and a retribution to them.
And David saith: Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling block, and a recompense unto them.
And David says, “Let those people be caught and trapped at their own feasts. Let them fall and be punished.
King David says this: ‘They enjoy eating lots of good food together. I pray that God will catch them while they are eating! I want those good things to lead them into trouble. I want God to punish them because of what they have done.
And David says: Let their table be a trap and a net, and a snare and a retribution for them.
And David says, “Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them;
And David says, “Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them;
And David says: “Let their ·own feasts [L table] ·trap them and cause their ruin [L become a snare and a trap], becoming a ·stumbling block [pitfall] and ·paying them back [their retribution].
And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a net, and a stumbling block, even for a recompense unto them.
And David says, “Let the table set for them become a trap and a net, a snare and a punishment for them.
And David says, “May they be caught and trapped at their feasts; may they fall, may they be punished!
And David says: Let their feasting become a snare and a trap, a pitfall and a retribution to them.
And David says: “Let their own feasts trap them and cause their ruin. Let their feasts cause them to sin and be paid back.
And David says, “Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a punishment for them.
And David says of them: ‘Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a recompense to them; let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back always’.
And David says, Let their table be turned into a snare and a net and a stumblingblock and a recompense unto them;
And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
And David says, “Let their table become a snare and a trap, And a stumbling block and a retribution to them.
And David says, “Let their table become a snare and a trap, and a cause for stumbling and a retribution to them;
King David spoke of this same thing when he said, “Let their good food and other blessings trap them into thinking all is well between themselves and God. Let these good things boomerang on them and fall back upon their heads to justly crush them.
And then what happened? Well, when Israel tried to be right with God on her own, pursuing her own self-interest, she didn’t succeed. The chosen ones of God were those who let God pursue his interest in them, and as a result received his stamp of legitimacy. The “self-interest Israel” became thick-skinned toward God. Moses and Isaiah both commented on this: Fed up with their quarrelsome, self-centered ways, God blurred their eyes and dulled their ears, Shut them in on themselves in a hall of mirrors, and they’re there to this day. David was upset about the same thing: I hope they get sick eating self-serving meals, break a leg walking their self-serving ways. I hope they go blind staring in their mirrors, get ulcers from playing at god.
And David says: “Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution to them.

David says, “Let their feast be a trap and a snare. Let them trip and fall. Let them get what’s coming to them.
And David says: “May their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them.
And David says: ‘May their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling-block and a retribution for them.
And David says: “Let their table become a snare and a trap, A stumbling block and a recompense to them.
David said, “Let their table of food become a trap to hold them. Let it be a hole into which they fall and will suffer.
Likewise, David said, “Let their bountiful table become a snare, a trap that makes them think all is well. Let their blessings cause them to stumble, and let them get what they deserve.
And David says, Let their table be made a snare to take them with, and an occasion to fall, and a reward to them.
And David says, ‘Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling-block and a retribution for them;
And David says, ‘Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling-block and a retribution for them;

And David says, “Let their feast become a snare and a trap, a pitfall and a retribution for them;

David says it this way: Let their table be turned into a snare and a trap, an obstacle to peace and payback for their hostility.
David says, “Let their table be made a snare, a trap, a stumbling block, and a retribution to them.
And David said long ago, `May the table where they eat be like a net and like a trap. May it make them fall down. May it punish them.
And David saith, Be the board of them made into a snare before them, and into catching, and into cause of stumbling, and into yielding to them [and into catching, and into offence, and into yielding again to them].
and David saith, `Let their table become for a snare, and for a trap, and for a stumbling-block, and for a recompense to them;
