Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them another five talents.

As soon as the man had gone, the servant with the 5,000 coins used them to earn 5,000 more.
And he that had received the five talents went and trafficked with them, and made five other talents.
Immediately having gone, the one having received the five talents worked with them and gained another five.
And he that had received the five talents, went his way, and traded with the same, and gained other five.
The servant who got five bags went quickly to invest the money. Those five bags of money earned five more.
The servant who had received 5,000 gold coins went out immediately. He bought and sold things with the money. When he did this, he got 5,000 more gold coins.
The servant who had received the five talents immediately put them to work and gained five more talents.

“The man who had received five thousand pounds went out at once and by doing business with this sum he made another five thousand. Similarly the man with two thousand pounds made another two thousand. But the man who had received one thousand pounds went off and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
And after he was gone, he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same and made another five talents.

“It’s also like a man going off on an extended trip. He called his servants together and delegated responsibilities. To one he gave five thousand dollars, to another two thousand, to a third one thousand, depending on their abilities. Then he left. Right off, the first servant went to work and doubled his master’s investment. The second did the same. But the man with the single thousand dug a hole and carefully buried his master’s money.
