[Jesus said this] because the scribes and Pharisees were [attributing His miracles to Satan by] saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
For they persisted in saying, He has an unclean spirit.
Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
He said this because the legal experts were saying, “He’s possessed by an evil spirit.”
For they had been saying, “He has an unclean spirit in him.”
Jesus said this because the people were saying that he had an evil spirit in him.
—because they said, He has an unclean spirit.
because they were saying “He has an unclean spirit”.
Because they said: He hath an unclean spirit.
Jesus said this because the teachers of the law had accused him of having an evil spirit inside him.
Jesus said that to the teachers of God's Law, because they had said, ‘Jesus has a bad spirit in him.’
Jesus said this because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
for they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
for they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
Jesus said this because the teachers of the law said that he had an ·evil [defiling; L unclean] spirit inside him.
Because they said, He had an unclean spirit.
Jesus said this because the experts in Moses’ Teachings had said that he had an evil spirit.

because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
Jesus said this because the teachers of the law said that Jesus had an evil spirit inside him.
…because they had been saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
He said this because they were saying, “He is in the power of an evil spirit.”
because they said, He has an unclean spirit.
Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
He told them this because they were saying he did his miracles by Satan’s power instead of acknowledging it was by the Holy Spirit’s power.
“Listen to this carefully. I’m warning you. There’s nothing done or said that can’t be forgiven. But if you persist in your slanders against God’s Holy Spirit, you are repudiating the very One who forgives, sawing off the branch on which you’re sitting, severing by your own perversity all connection with the One who forgives.” He gave this warning because they were accusing him of being in league with Evil.
For they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
because he said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
Yeshua said this because the experts in Moses’ Teachings had said that he had an evil spirit.
For they had said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
He said this because they had claimed he was possessed by an unclean spirit.
Jesus said this because the teachers of the law said that he had an evil spirit inside him.
(because they said, “He has an unclean spirit”).
Jesus said this because the teachers of the law were saying, “He has an evil spirit.”
He said this because they were saying, “He has an impure spirit.”
He said this because they were saying, ‘He has an impure spirit.’
because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
Jesus told them this because they said, “He has a demon.”
He told them this because they were saying, “He’s possessed by an evil spirit.”
(For they said he had an unclean spirit.)
for they had said, ‘He has an unclean spirit.’
for they had said, ‘He has an unclean spirit.’
for they had said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
for they had said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
That was his response to their claim that he had an unclean spirit.
For they were saying, He has a ruach hatumah (an unclean spirit).
He said this because they said, ‘He has an unclean spirit.’
for they had said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
for they had said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
For they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
He said this because the scribes were telling people that Jesus got His power from dark forces instead of from God.
—because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
Jesus said all this because the scribes said, `A bad spirit is in him.'
For they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
because they said, `He hath an unclean spirit.'
