And their father said unto them, “What way went he?” For his sons had seen which way the man of God went who came from Judah.

Their father asked them, “Which way did he go?” For his sons had seen which way the man of God who came from Judah had gone.

“Which way did he go?” their father asked them. His sons had seen the way the man of God went when he came from Judah.
Their father asked them, “Which way did he go?” For his sons had seen what road the man of God from Y’hudah had taken.
“Show me which way he went,” the old prophet said, and his sons pointed out the road.
And their father said to them, Which way went he? for his sons had seen which way the man of God went, who came from Judah.
And their father said to them: What way went he? His sons shewed him the way by which the man of God went, who came out of Juda.
The old prophet said, “Which way did he go when he left?” So the sons showed their father which road the man of God from Judah had taken.
Their father asked them, ‘Which road did he go home on?’ So his sons showed him the road that God's servant from Judah was on.
Then their father said to them, “Which road did he take?” So his sons showed him the road which the man of God from Judah had taken.
And their father said to them, “Which way did he go?” And his sons showed him the way that the man of God who came from Judah had gone.
And their father said to them, “Which way did he go?” And his sons showed him the way that the man of God who came from Judah had gone.
The father asked, “Which road did he use when he left?” So his sons showed him the road the man of God from Judah had taken.
And their father said unto them, What way went he? and his sons showed him what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.

“Which way did he go when he left?” the old prophet asked them. They showed him the road

“Which way did he go?” their father asked him, since his sons had observed the way that the man of God had taken to return to Judah from Bethel.
And their father said unto them, What way did he go? And his sons showed him the way the man of God had gone, who had come from Judah.

They also told their father what he had said to the king. Their father asked them, “Which way did he go?” His sons showed him the way on which the man of God from Judah had gone.
The father asked, “Which road did he use when he left?” So his sons showed him the road the man of God from Judah had taken.
Their father asked them, “Which road did he take?” His sons showed him the road the prophet from Judah had taken.
Their father asked them, “Which way did he go?” His sons showed him the road the man of God from Judah had taken.

And their av said unto them, What derech went he? For his banim had seen on what derech the Ish HaElohim, who came from Yehudah, went.
And their father said to them, “Which way did he go?” And his sons showed him the way which the man of God who came from Judah had gone.
And their father said to them, “Which way did he go?” And his sons showed him the way which the man of God who came from Judah had gone.
Then their father asked them: “Which way did he go?” For his sons had seen which way the man of God that came from Judah went.
Prophet (to his sons): Where did the man of God go? I would like to see him. The old prophet’s sons had seen which way the man of God from Judah had gone, so they told their father which direction to take.
Their father said to them, “Which way did he go?” Now his sons had seen which way the man of God went, who came from Judah.
And the father of them said to them, By what way went he? His sons showed to him the way, by which the man of God went, that came from Judah (who came from Judah).
And their father saith unto them, `Where [is] this -- the way he hath gone?' and his sons see the way that the man of God hath gone who came from Judah.
