Zech 13:6

13:6 wounds on your back. Probably wounds that were self-inflicted during idolatrous worship. Several Old Testament texts suggest that such practices were customary in pagan worship (Lev. 19:28; 21:5; Deut. 14:1; 1 Kin. 18:28). The accused prophet contends that his wounds were inflicted by friends, and were not the result of idolatrous worship.
