3:13 Zenas . . . Apollos. Probably the bearers of this letter. Zenas is mentioned nowhere else in the New Testament; he is apparently one of Paul’s coworkers. Apollos was a native of Alexandria and noted for his eloquence (Acts 18:24–26). He is best known for his ministry at Corinth (Acts 18:27–19:1; 1 Cor. 1:12; 3:4–22; 16:12).
