Ps. 35 The psalm is a lament by one whose life is threatened. The psalm uses the language of warfare (vv. 1–3) as well as legal language (vv. 11, 23, 24). Twice the psalm comes to a climax with the figure of the offering of a vow in praise (vv. 18, 28).
