Ps 137:6

137:6 my highest joy. Now that Christ has come, there are no special holy places, but during the period of the Psalms there was but one—Zion. Jerusalem symbolically represented the City of God, composed of all believers (Gal. 4:26; Rev. 21:9–27). For the exiles, not only religious but political and cultural feelings were evoked by thoughts of their homeland.
