12:6–8 The Lord summoned Moses and his two accusers to the tent of meeting. There He rebuked Aaron and Miriam for their arrogant lack of fear in opposing Moses. In light of the clarity and directness of God’s self-revelation to Moses, they should have accepted their subordination to his unique status and supported him. See “Prophets” at Deut. 18:18.
