Luke 18:1–8

18:1–8 The preceding verses (17:22–37) and the reference to the Second Coming in v. 8 indicate that persistence in prayer for the coming of Christ and His final triumph over evil, even when that coming is seemingly delayed, is particularly in view (1 Cor. 16:22; Rev. 22:20).
