Job 9:33

9:33 There is no arbiter. Eliphaz had taunted Job with the thought that no heavenly being would think of defending him (5:1). Here Job touches a profound truth, that sinful man needs an arbiter who can reach both God and man. Although not a direct prediction, this verse foresees the need of the “one mediator between God and men” (1 Tim. 2:5).
