Job 14:7–22

14:7–22 Having concluded that death is the only escape from suffering, Job suggests that God let him die and then raise him up after His anger has cooled down. The reader, however, knows God was not angry to begin with. This chapter does not clearly teach a doctrine of resurrection, but it shows that the subject was in people’s minds.
