Gen 6:18–21

6:18–21 God preserved His creation in miniature: humans (v. 18), animals (v. 20), food (v. 21). In that some of every sort were preserved, God’s work here was a type of Christ’s work of definite redemption (e.g., Rev. 5:9, where Christ is said to have purchased not all, but some from “every tribe and language and people and nation”).
