Ezek 37:1

37:1 Spirit. The words “breath,” “Spirit,” and “wind” in this passage represent the same Hebrew word, adjusted by translations to the requirements of context (vv. 1, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 14).

valley. This is the same term used in 3:22; see note there. Since this word is only used in Ezekiel in these two passages, the locale of this vision may have been the same as that for the prophet’s call. Some have suggested that the vision was in the environs of Jerusalem, possibly the Kidron Valley east of the city (47:1–6; Joel 3:12; Zech. 14:4).
