Ezek 33:22

33:22 opened my mouth. The prophet had been silent for a sustained period; see notes 3:26 and 24:27. Now that the news of Jerusalem’s destruction has reached the exiles, his mouth is opened, and Ezekiel addresses (a) those who remained in Judah after the destruction of the city (vv. 23–29) and (b) his fellow exiles (vv. 30–33).
