Deut 26:16–19

26:16–19 These verses conclude the covenant stipulations section that begins at 12:1. Here the people accepted the terms of God’s covenant by their pledge of obedience to the covenant stipulations (v. 17; cf. Ex. 24:7), and the two parties of the covenant (God and the people) “declared” loyalty to the other (vv. 17, 18).
