Acts 9:2

9:2 the Way. Other names used in Acts for the early Christians are: “Christians” (used only in 11:26; 26:28; 1 Pet. 4:16), “disciples” (vv. 10, 19), “saints” (v. 13), “all who call on your name” (v. 14), and “brothers” (v. 30). “The Way” identifies the Christian cause as composed of followers of Jesus, who is “the way” (John 14:6). It is used a number of times in Acts (19:9, 23; 22:4; 24:14, 22).
