2:33 exalted at the right hand of God. God’s plan went beyond the resurrection of His Son, who must be exalted to the position He occupied with the Father from eternity (John 17:5).

and having received from the Father . . . Holy Spirit . . . poured out. The doctrine of the Trinity is implied: Peter showed how the Father (vv. 32, 33) worked in the life, death, resurrection, and exaltation of Jesus, His Son, and the Holy Spirit produced the miracle of causing His servants to speak in tongues.
