5:15 A Christian must seek justice for others (Is. 56:1; 58:6–8). It is a remarkable part of Christian morality that the Christian, following the example of Christ (1 Pet. 2:21–23), should refuse to seek personal retaliation (Matt. 5:38–42; Rom. 12:17–21; 1 Cor. 6:7; 1 Pet. 3:9).
