8211 commitment, to the world

Though the world is fallen, God still loves the world and is committed to it. Commitment by believers to worldly pursuits and evil is to be avoided as they are called upon to be “in the world” but “not of the world”.

Commitment to this world to be avoided because it is a fallen and sinful place

Gal 1:4; 1Jn 5:19 See also 2Co 4:4; Eph 2:2; Eph 6:12; 2Pe 1:4; 1Jn 2:16-17; 1Jn 3:1,13

Though the world is fallen, God still loves it

Jn 3:16 See also 2Co 5:18-20
