Sibbechai, Sibbecai [Sĭb'bechaī, Sĭb'be caī]—jehovah is intervening or entangling. One of the family of Hushah who slew Saph or Saffai, a Philistine giant in David’s time (2 Sam. 21:18; 1 Chron. 11:29; 20:4; 27:11). Called Mebunnai in 2 Samuel 23:27.
