Oreb [Ō'reb]—a raven or cautious. One of the two Midianite princes defeated and put to death by Gibeon (Judg. 7:25; 8:3; Ps. 83:11). Also the name of a rock near Beth-bareh, whereon Oreb and Zeeb were slain (Judg. 7:25; Isa. 10:26).
