Jaare-Oregim

Jaare-Oregim [Jāär e-Ŏr'e ḡĭm]—foresters or tapestry of the weavers. The father of Elhanan, one of David’s heroes who killed the brother of the giant, Goliath (2 Sam. 21:19). In 1 Chronicles 20:5 he is called Jair. Young says that Oregim, meaning “weavers,” ought not to be a part of the name.
