⁸ And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb (Christ), each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of fragrant incense, which are the prayers of the saints (God’s people).

³ Another angel came and stood at the altar. He had a golden ^[a]censer, and much ^[b]incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints (God’s people) on the golden altar in front of the throne.^{(A) 4} And the smoke and fragrant aroma of the incense, with the prayers of the saints (God’s people), ascended before God from the angel’s hand.
