⁷ Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for ^(A)the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” ⁸ And ^(B)to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, ^(C)for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

⁹ Then he said to me, “Write: ^(D)‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, ^(E)“These are the true sayings of God.”

²⁷ But ^(A)there shall by no means enter it anything ^[a]that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s ^(B)Book of Life.

^14 (A)And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so ^(B)must the Son of Man be lifted up, ¹⁵ that whoever ^(C)believes in Him should ^[a]not perish but ^(D)have eternal life. ^16 (E)For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten ^(F)Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. ^17 (G)For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

^18 (H)“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

² In My Father’s house are many ^[a]mansions; if it were not so, ^[b]I would have told you. ^(A)I go to prepare a place for you. ³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, ^(B)I will come again and receive you to Myself; that ^(C)where I am, there you may be also.

^24 (A)“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; ^(B)for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

²⁰ Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but ^[a]rather rejoice because ^(A)your names are written in heaven.”

²² But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, ²³ to the ^[a]general assembly and church of ^(A)the firstborn ^(B)who are registered in heaven, to God ^(C)the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men ^(D)made perfect, ²⁴ to Jesus ^(E)the Mediator of the new covenant, and to ^(F)the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things ^(G)than that of Abel.

³² But ^(A)recall the former days in which, after you were ^[a]illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: ³³ partly while you were made ^(B)a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while ^(C)you became companions of those who were so treated; ³⁴ for you had compassion on ^[b]me ^(D)in my chains, and ^(E)joyfully accepted the plundering of your ^[c]goods, knowing that ^(F)you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves ^[d]in heaven. ³⁵ Therefore do not cast away your confidence, ^(G)which has great reward.

¹⁷ Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to ^(A)the heirs of promise ^(B)the ^[a]immutability of His counsel, ^[b]confirmed it by an oath, ¹⁸ that by two ^[c]immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to ^(C)lie, we ^[d]might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope ^(D)set before us.

¹⁹ This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, ^(E)and which enters the Presence behind the veil, ^20 (F)where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, ^(G)having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
