Psalm 28:6-9

⁶ Praise be to the Lord,^(A)
    for he has heard my cry for mercy.^(B)
7 The Lord is my strength^(C) and my shield;
    my heart trusts^(D) in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,^(E)
    and with my song I praise him.^(F)

⁸ The Lord is the strength^(G) of his people,
    a fortress of salvation^(H) for his anointed one.^(I)
9 Save your people^(J) and bless your inheritance;^(K)
    be their shepherd^(L) and carry them^(M) forever.
