² And behold, there came to him a leper and ^[a]worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. ³ And he stretched forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou made clean. And straightway his leprosy was cleansed.

⁴ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and tell John the things which ye hear and see: ⁵ the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have ^[a]good tidings preached to them. ⁶ And blessed is he, whosoever shall find no occasion of stumbling in me.
